Structured Cabling in the UAE

The cabling everything else runs on, done to standard, labelled, tested and certified. IP Care designs and installs Cat6, Cat6A and fibre backbones across the UAE, so your network has a foundation that lasts.

Structured Cabling in the UAE: What IP Care Covers

Structured cabling is the part of your network nobody sees and everyone relies on. Across the UAE, IP Care installs the Cat6, Cat6A and fibre that carries your data, voice, CCTV and access control, laid out properly, labelled, and tested so a fault takes minutes to find instead of days.

The difference between cabling done to standard and cabling done in a hurry only shows up later, when links drop and nobody can tell which cable goes where. We install to EIA/TIA-568, certify every link with a meter, and document it, so the system you pay for now still makes sense to whoever works on it in five years. We have been doing this in the UAE since 2003.

Because we also run the networks this cabling feeds, it is specified for the traffic it will actually carry, not guessed at. Structured cabling is one part of the wider ELV work we do, see the full range on our ELV & Physical Security page.

  • Fibre splicing and termination
  • Patch panels, racks and cable management
  • Containment, trunking and floor boxes
  • Cable testing and certification with Fluke meters
  • Labelling, documentation and as-built records

Capabilities

What's Included

Single-mode and multi-mode fibre, spliced and terminated.

Racks & Patch Panels

Neat, labelled patch panels and racks with room to grow.

Testing & Certification

Every link tested and certified, with the results documented.

Documentation

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A?

Both carry gigabit speeds, but Cat6A holds 10-gigabit over longer runs and handles interference better, which matters in dense cabling or longer distances. We advise which one fits each part of your site rather than over-specifying the whole job.

Do you install fibre as well as copper?

Yes. We install single-mode and multi-mode fibre backbones, handle the splicing and termination, and tie it into your copper cabling and racks as one designed system.

Do you test and certify the cabling?

Yes. Every link is tested and certified with a meter, and you get the documented results. Untested cabling is where intermittent faults come from, so this is not an optional extra for us.

Can you cable an occupied office without disrupting work?

Yes. We phase the work and run cabling after hours or in stages where needed, so live areas keep running while we install.

Do you follow a cabling standard?

We install to EIA/TIA-568, label everything and hand over as-built documentation, so the system is consistent and anyone working on it later can trace it.
